I went to Haliburton Watches website. No I had never heard of it before today. I don't know whether the info is truth or just put out there by Cheney haters. I may never know...I hope it is false. Thanks for the conversation and I thank you too for being civil.

are you familiar with Haliburton? anyway, i don't think alquida is any weaker, terrorism has increased since we attacked. essentially what we did was launch the greatest recruitment campaign they could have hoped for. of course i would veiw weakening a terrorist group as a good thing. i guess we just see the war in the mid east differently, although i thank you for remaining civil while still disagreeing with me.

Some parts of the world looked down on us before the war. Great Britain agreed with us and joined us. A ploy for Cheney? I really don't get that comment. Again, we got Saddam Hussein and Alquida is weaker because of what we did. Don't you see weakening terrorists groups as a good thing?

i think the reason most of the world looks down on us is because of the senseless war we started in iraq. this had nothing to do with revenge, it was just a ploy for Cheney and his cronies to make incredible amounts of money. and while we may have been justified to go into afghanistan, we failed to capture Osama bin ladin. do you think all these botched wars make us look strong?

I had a job a at a banquet hall where Islamic folks had conferences. I heard their beliefs and the speakers were telling Muslims they were victims and it was the fault of the West. These folks were not victims...they were living rich in USA!! Those folks are victims of their goverments and beliefs... not us. Remember we got Sadam Hussein and that man killed tons of people...(like Hitler). If we didn't go in people would still be getting killed by that guy.

revenge is a legitimate reason to start a war because if USA doesn't defend herself, she looks weak and others will attack us. Do you realize we are hated because of our prosperity.

yeah, WE started. despite invading Afganhistan we have not captured Osama bin Ladin, the man who claims responsibility for the attacks(which was the whole reason for invading in the first place). And Iraq had nothing to do with the attacks, we invaded it spurred on by lies about WMD's.

also, you say 9/11 is the reason we started these wars. Do you really think revenge is a legitimate reason to start a war? A war, i will add, that was started without the approval of Congress. Now please understand, I am not defending what the terrorists did, it was terrible beyond words. But the men who flew those plains died on them, and our wars haven't captured the man who planned the attack, so what good have they done?

Despise Republicans? Isn't that being intolerant and prejudiced? You should take each person for who he/she is....many people have formed their political views based on their life experiences. Maybe they know some things that you do not. I usually vote repubican, but I at least listen to the opposing side. Hate...no..love your enemies.

WE started???? 9/11....did you forget? Would you like if a terrorist flew his plane into a building where you or someone you loved worked? Wars are awful, but they always have been and always will be because you can't always reason with dictators like Hitler, Stalin, Osama bin Laden, etc...I hate war too but freedom is not free. If we didn't fight our 1st war we'd still be owned by England! Like Patrick Henry said, "Give me liberty or give me death!"
